Vacation Bible School - "Polar Blast - Where Jesus’ Love is Cool!"
“Polar Blast, Where Jesus’ Love is Cool” is for ages 2 and up. This 2 night event will include crafts, bible lessons, music and snacks at no cost. Invite your kids, grandkids and neighbors. Open and Affirming
Open and Affirming Resolution—Riverside Christian Church has been contemplating, praying, studying and listening to God’s Spirit beginning with Rev. Robert Bull’s bible study in May 2016 and after additional weeks of prayer, conversation, study, and listening to God’s Spirit under the Elders and Rev. Terrye’s guidance, RCC voted overwhelmingly (over 90%) to join other Disciples of Christ congregations as Open and Affirming! Riverside wil continue our tradition of welcome and hospitality to all as a people of grace and followers of Jesus.
Volunteer at Kansas Food Bank
Plan to join us Thursday, June 28 at 10 am to sort donated food from the May Letter Carrier Food Drive or any other task they have waiting for us. Wear comfortable clothing suitable to a fan cooled warehouse and closed toed shoes. Contact Claire Meredith to volunteer.
