CELEBRATE 20 YEARS OF CAMP TAWAKONI
From the very first campfire, where stories are shared under the sprawling night sky, to the annual tradition of cinnamon rolls and bacon on the last morning of camp, these activities are steeped in joy. Each year, we’ve seen friendships solidify, individuals grow through stepping outside their comfort zone, and the love for learning more about how God is calling us to "Be still and know I am God" flourish among participants of all ages.
The bonds formed around the campfire have often evolved into lifelong connections. Many of us have witnessed marriages, the birth of children, and new friendships forged as a result of these shared experiences.
At the upcoming reunion, those relationships will be celebrated as we share stories of our journeys at camp and beyond.
As we prepare for this momentous occasion, let’s carry forward the legacy of joy, fun, and friendship that camping has given us over the years. Each moment shared, every laugh heard, and every challenge faced together has only brought us closer.
